Our Mission:

To raise funds to assist the families of Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers who are killed or seriously injured in the Line of Duty.

About the Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race

Deputy Johnson lost his life on January 12th, 2014 in a vehicle accident while on duty with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office. Bubba had previously served with the Montgomery County Emergency Medical Service and the Clarksville Police Department.

This event began as and continues to be a way to keep Deputy Johnson's memory alive while also honoring his legacy of helping any person in need. Proceeds from the Deputy Bubba Johnson Memorial Road Race previously led to the funding of a scholarship in Deputy Johnson's name at Austin Peay State University that is awarded annually to relatives of active or retired law enforcement, fire or public emergency management personnel. This year's focus will be on providing aid to the families of Tennessee Law Enforcement Officers who are killed or seriously injured in the Line of Duty.

Deputy Johnson was a man known for his integrity, loyalty to the Badge, and his uncanny ability to brighten up any room he walked into with simply a kind word or a joke. This event serves to honor him in the best way possible....by helping others just as he would have continued to do to this day.
